Dexter Has One of the Best Main Titles Ever
The first season of Dexter has finally reached me. I have now started watching the Showtime series and after two episodes I’m pretty hooked. The scary part of it is that I recognize myself in certain aspects of the character played by Michael C. Hall. Yes, I know, he’s a psychopath and a serial killer, but there are parts of him that I relate to in the same sense that I relate to Alan Shore on Boston Legal.
The main titles are among the best I have ever seen. During the main titles, we see this serial killer go through his morning routine, including preparing and eating breakfast, shaving and getting dressed. Nothing strange about that, right? Wrong. The clever folks behind this sequence manage to make his routine look thoroughly sinister.
