New Hancock Trailer Looks Impressive
Hancock, the action-comedy that opens on July 2 in the U.S., looks very promising if one is to judge from this new trailer. Directed by Peter Berg, the film portrays an alcoholic but powerful superhero who still does his job but in such a clumsy and messy way that people begin to wonder what’s worse, the crime or the destruction that follows in Hancock’s path. Will Smith plays the superhero and he’s assisted by Jason Bateman and Charlize Theron. This trailer has several sequences that are really funny (that poor whale… and sailboat!) and the visual effects look good enough.
The concept reminds me of My Super Ex-Girlfriend (2006)… but let’s hope this one is much better.
