It's All About Batman and Indy
Movieweb.com has put up the new trailers for The Dark Knight and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. You can talk all you want about Hulks and Iron Men, but there is no doubt that these two are the summer’s hottest sequels. The trailers certainly delivers, especially the one for Dark Knight, that shows a lot more of the Joker and Harvey Dent.
But it’s also nice to see that Harrison Ford looks a lot younger in the Indy trailer than Roger Moore did in A View to a Kill – and he’s six years older than Mr. Moore was in 1985.
Considering that Iron Man took $100 million in its first weekend, the summer is off to a very lucrative start for the studios. I’m sure that both the Bat and Indy will also deliver.
