Why We'll Miss Bush
George W. Bush’s presidency is thankfully coming to an end, but it’s been eight wonderful years as far as malapropisms go. This clip shows the President at his funniest, calling the military “our breast and brightest” and talking about single mothers working hard to “put food on the family”.
My absolute favorite is when he screws up the saying “Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me”, and gets so annoyed at his own mistake that he just leans forward (in a very Bushian fashion) and spells out the meaning of the saying.
We’ll never laugh so hard at another president.
