Darrell Hammond – Too Funny for Damages?
As the fifth episode of the second season of Damages played out, he made another appearance. Comedian and Saturday Night Live veteran Darrell Hammond has turned to drama, playing a creepy character who takes care of unpleasant business for powerful men. It’s fortunate that his part is small because whenever I see him I can’t make up my mind if he’s a clever casting choice or just… too funny. I mean, look at him work that chap stick in the YouTube clip above.

I agree. I am catching up on the 2nd season now, and he makes the dramatic parts too funny. He should stick to what he knows.
