The Passion of Conan's Fans
It’s been almost a month since NBC snatched The Tonight Show from Conan O’Brien and handed it back to Jay Leno whose geriatric prime-time show wasn’t working. Now Leno’s brought his geriatric antics back to NBC’s late-night staple and everything’s back to normal; Jay is beating Dave in the ratings and everybody feels safe and comfortable again. Meantime, Conan has taken up twittering, started planning a comedy tour and begun negotiations with Fox on a new late-night show. He will be fine, but just like any other fan I miss watching him on TV. Some of his followers are more dedicated than others.
