Scrambled Eggs, With a Beatle and a Fallon
I’m not a huge fan of Jimmy Fallon, yet I find myself posting videos of him now and then. Music is the key word here. Fallon is a gifted impersonator; as Emmy host he made sure there were possibilities for him to spoof Elton John, Boyz II Men and Green Day. On his Late Night with Jimmy Fallon he never misses a chance to have a little fun with rock legends. On December 9, it was Paul McCartney’s turn. As you can see in the clip above, Fallon looks a bit nervous as he joins the Beatle for a rendition of “Scrambled Eggs”, a version of “Yesterday” that McCartney used as a way of remembering the real lyrics of the song. They do a smashing job together, and of course this is the first time McCartney has performed the song with those lyrics live.
