The hottest chick in town just switched bodies with the luckiest loser in the world.
Thanks to a pair of magic earrings, the hottest chick in school (Rachel McAdams) accidentally switches bodies with the most miserable thief in town (Rob Schneider). Another physically demanding comedy for the star; he’s not bad and the rest of the cast members also do what they’re supposed to do. But the formula is getting pretty tiresome (Big, anyone?) and many of the jokes and stereotypes are just boring or silly. It’s kind of hard to like the characters, and the obligatory but painfully unfunny Adam Sandler cameo is another drawback.
2002-U.S. 105 min. Widescreen. Directed by Tom Brady. Screenplay: Tom Brady, Rob Schneider. Cast: Rob Schneider (Clive Maxtone), Anna Faris (April), Matthew Lawrence (Billy), Eric Christian Olsen, Robert Davi, Rachel McAdams… Ashlee Simpson. Cameo: Adam Sandler.
Trivia: Sandler co-executive produced the film.
