Never grow old. Never die. Never know fear again.
Chris Emerson (Tad Hilgenbrink) and his sister (Autumn Reeser) move to a certain small town in California where a local gang of surfers is continuing a time-honored tradition of bloodsucking. It took twenty years for this direct-to-DVD sequel to emerge, but no one involved came up with any original ideas for a new story. It has gory and (moderately) entertaining moments, but the leads are forgettable and Corey Feldman’s performance funny in a most likely unintentional way.
2008-U.S. 92 min. Color. Widescreen. Directed by P.J. Pesce. Cast: Tad Hilgenbrink (Chris Emerson), Angus Sutherland (Shane Powers), Autumn Reeser (Nicole Emerson), Corey Feldman, Gabrielle Rose, Shaun Sipos. Cameo: Corey Haim.
Trivia: Sutherland is related to Kiefer Sutherland, who played a vampire in the original. Followed by Lost Boys: The Thirst (2010).
