Deliver us some evil.
Another movie starring the evil dolls Chucky and Tiffany is being made in Hollywood, but soon the real toys begin to wreak havoc on the production and its star, Jennifer Tilly. The fifth Child’s Play movie is directed by a series veteran and is similar to the fourth one; there’s thrills, spills and laughs here for the fans. Others might object to the silliness, but they will appreciate Tilly’s grotesque, funny spoof of herself, John Waters as a cheeky paparazzo and clever references to predecessors such as, surprisingly, Glen or Glenda (1953).
2004-U.S. 85 min. Color. Written and directed by Don Mancini. Cast: Jennifer Tilly (Herself/Tiffany), Hannah Spearritt (Joan), John Waters (Pete Peters), Redman, Keith-Lee Castle, Steve Lawton. Voices of Brad Dourif, Billy Boyd.
Trivia: Chris Sarandon was allegedly offered to reprise his role from the first movie.
