Don’t fit in. Stand out.

Teenager Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato) is spending summer at Camp Rock where she finds friends and enemies… as well as a troubled pop star (Joe Jonas) to fall in love with. The Disney Channel wished to capitalize on the success of its High School Musical flicks and quickly rushed this one into production. No one seems to have made much of an effort: the story is very similar to those other films and the songs are just as cardboard as the performances. At least the climactic duet is somewhat more memorable.
