Ocean's Twelve
Twelve is the new eleven.
Director Soderbergh and his buddies on another vacation; the excuse is a story where Danny Ocean and his fellow criminals are confronted by their nemesis, Garcia, and then find themselves in Amsterdam performing another heist. By the time Ms. Roberts’ character is goaded into assuming the identity of famous movie star Julia Roberts the film falls apart. This is little else but improvised nonsense made by rich, indifferent people.
2004-U.S. 125 min. Color. Widescreen. Directed by Steven Soderbergh. Cast: George Clooney (Danny Ocean), Brad Pitt (Rusty Ryan), Matt Damon (Linus Caldwell), Julia Roberts, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Andy Garcia… Don Cheadle, Bernie Mac, Carl Reiner, Elliott Gould, Robbie Coltrane, Eddie Izzard. Cameos: Bruce Willis, Albert Finney.
Trivia: The script was based on an idea originally intended for a John Woo movie. Followed by Ocean’s Thirteen (2007).
