Watch out!

Heiress Ursula Stanhope (Leslie Mann) falls in love with a clumsy jungle man named George (Brendan Fraser) and brings him to New York, where dangers await everywhere. This movie was based on an internationally little-known animated TV show (1967-1970), but audiences shouldn’t reject it. The filmmakers worked hard to create the kind of energy we know from classic animated films, and it does gain a lot from its crazy style and silly sound effects (as well as a certain elephant and an ape voiced by John Cleese). Fraser is perfect as Tarzan, no, George, and narrator Keith Scott is very funny.
