Home Alone 4

This one makes the third film look pretty good. It’s a TV movie that takes us back to Kevin, with a new kid replacing Mac Culkin, who once again runs into Marv the burglar (French Stewart) who has set his sights on a fancy house where Kevin’s dad’s new girlfriend lives. Not for a minute is Hollywood brat Mike Weinberg allowed to behave like a normal child; not once is Stewart as funny as Daniel Stern. The story is awfully saccharine and much too long.
