They missed each other. This time, their aim is better.
When Perry’s new wife (Henstridge) is kidnapped by Hungarian mobsters, he looks up his old hit man buddy Willis again. The sequel to the The Whole Nine Yards (2000) reunites most of the cast; one clever idea is having Pollak play the father of the mobster Willis killed in the last movie. Mr. Perry does tickle my ribs and there are amusing moments, but the script is often lacking in class, and the pointlessness of this sequel is jarring.
2004-U.S. 100 min. Color. Directed by Howard Deutch. Cast: Bruce Willis (Jimmy ”The Tulip” Tudeski), Matthew Perry (Nicholas Oseransky), Amanda Peet (Jill), Kevin Pollak, Natasha Henstridge.
